Yeah, the most recent casting rumor was Megan Fox. Which I do not like.

And Lynda Carter actually suggested they get an unknown for the role and I kind of agree. I can't really think of many women in Hollywood right now who have the balance of looks and muscles to play Wonder Woman.

Gail Simone, who was AWESOME when she was writing for Birds of Prey, has been writing Wonder Woman V3 since Issue 14, I believe. I highly recommend it to, like, everyone.

You know, despite apparently being a total comic nerd, I have yet to read any solo Wonder Woman story.

I think it has to do with the fact that the only things I ever end up following in main DC continuity are the Green Lantern titles.

Basically, the storyline this issue is a part of is a "worst case scenario" sort of situation mocking what Hollywood will likely do to the Wonder Woman movie.
